Finding competitors for 3 small business phone lines??

Somehow Qwest has figured out a way to charge me about $700/mt for:
2 basic 256K DSL lines @ $36/mt
residential line@ 36/mt
3 small business lines@$140/mt. I have 3 very small businesses, it is pretty much just me. About 10 calls/day but some are very, very important and so one answering machine for all 3 lines will not work
$200/mt for yellow page ads.

Something is rotten.

I am switching residential carriers and that looks pretty easy.

So far, the competitors to Qwest are just as expensive as Qwest.

I know there is a better way to do 3 small business lines in a home.

Who has done something like this?
