finding blood on aspiration

hey guys, i just read a thread from a guy who said that after shooting in his glute, he removed the needle and it spurted blood right out from the injection site. he didnt aspirate before injecting.
my question is- thankfully it hasnt happened to me yet, but what would you do if you aspirated and there was blood in the syringe? move the injection site slightly and inject the blood/test mix?

by the book, remove the needle and replace it with a new one and inject the mix into a new site

If there is a lot of blood I pull needle out. Try to keep needle facing down so as to not mix blood with compound. Then try to squirt out as much blood as I can with out loosing any juice. Then change needle head.

I know the blood is not going to kill me but I just like to get rid of it.

it's happened to me twice

both times i switched the needle and injected everything, blood included
