so tomorrow im gonna start at 4mg. =) im going to do the beverly int. diet for a few weeks and see how that works out. stacking it with eca and cla. i picked up some milk thistle, but i dunno if im gonna use it or not. still unsure if i need to. i might also incorporate some yohimburn, depending on how my bloat goes. my plan is to get a lil cut with this cycle, so im going to do cardio 6 days a week, 1hr and lifting 5 days. only one question, split my dosage or not? take one before cardio, before lifting, with/without meals, or it really doesnt matter at all?

thanks

jessi =)

i posted this on the womens board, figured id give it a shot over here too :)

I would divide them into two doses. That is a lot of training, be sure not to overtrain.

for cutting an hour of cardio 6 days a week and weights 5 days a week is not overtraining, it's how you diet down, at least to get really lean. Since there is a day off cardio, and two days off weights, make your day off cardio is also a day off with the workouts, complete rest. That's basically what I'm doing and will be for the next 10 weeks.

Everytime I cut down I cut my weight sessions to circuit training for 30 minutes. If the cardio and weights are divided up then she is gonna loose A LOT of muscle.

why would i lose alot of muscle tho from seperating them? i dont fully understand the reasoning. and my diet is basically 1-1.5gr protein to bodyweight, and about 50-70 grams of carbs. all clean foods, protein shakes and supps.

Nope, split is the wat to do it. I do am cardio on an empty stomach, and then train 12 hours later. I'd have to advise against going to circuit training golfer. I know MANY competitors who changed their style of training to "cut up for a show", and ended up flat amd weak, and super disappointed. Then, next go around it was heavy compund movements (4-8 reps) up until the very last training session, no change at all. The way they looked at the contest was like night and day.

The ONLY advantage circuit training has is it elevates your heart rate and you "may" burn more calories during the actual time training. But that is what cardio is for. Training sessions need to stay intense, as soon as your body knows it doesn't have to push around the heavy weights, it will adapt, and not look as good, as thick or as full. You can't "cut" with a workout, or using higher reps. A muscle is a muscle, it knows stress and not stress, what it looks like depends totally on diet. Why not, when all the fat and water are gone, have them be as big and full as possible? Just some advise from helping many through shows, and seeing things first hand.

Is that you in your picture gallery? :horny: (jessi, not golfer)

I'll give it a try.:)

You won't be dissappointed. I'm not sure how lean you're trying to get, but the leaner you go, the more important it is. Ask some competitors here how have tried different methods, I'd be suprised to hear many disagree.

what i had planned on doing is 30 mins am cardio, empty stomach, then a few hrs later lifting followed by another 30min session.

You can do that, I guess, but keep a close eye on things. Ideally you'd want to space your cardio and weights as far apart as possible. The cardio right after your workout is taking the place of the most important time all day to be having a meal, and feeding your muscles, especially when dieting; and your body is looking for anything it can to eat up and use for energy / recovery. The early AM cardio, and a good solid workout should be enough, nutrition will be the other 90%.

i hear ya bout that zambons :) i was praying thats what i would get .... and god bless i did, lol :)

what if i did this. did my early am cardio, lifted, got a protein shake at the gym, wait a few mins .. then hit the cardio? 2 trips a day to the gym is just gonna blow. its not like im gettin ready for a comp or anything.
