Well...you dont go to see this kind of film for acting....
I thought it was well directed, disturbing(but good) images, good plot twist at the end.......
What I didnt like was that is was a meld of THe sixth Sense and Stir of Echoes....
Still pretty good....not as great as it had been hyped but other the The Others - the best horror film I have seen in a while

The Others was pretty good... the ending was totally kickass and unexpected. But it was REALLY slow for a while.
The Ring is the best I've seen. They actually didn't fuck up much...
Like with the movie Jeepers Creepers... that fucker at the beginning of the show had the potential to be a total badass... but ended up being some cock-sucking, scaled, winged, dumb-ass lookin' demon-thing.
Didn't you wanna gag when she was pulling that hair out of her mouth, and she was all chokin' on it?

Is this movie anything like FearDotCom? thought that had to have been the dumbest movie. Felt like they edited out half of the story or so.
Im ready to go see some of the new horor thrillers that are out, especially FinalDestination 2. Seem to recall a couple of others that looked creepy, but am having a hard time remembering the names this early in the morning.

Honestly, I didn't like it much. I thought it was fairly predictable.
Did I get the shit scared out of me? I still keep looking over my shoulder waiting for that thing to crawl into the room and grab at my ankles! LOL
I am more of a fan of "good dumb horror". This was too "cerebral" for that but I didn't think it was anywhere near as good as Sixth Sense.

Hi All,
I watched it too over the weekend. I guess we all didn't have very eventful weekends this week. I'm taking a film class and since the class I just can't help but critique everything. I thought it was good. The directing was really good. One scene that was very put together was when the mom(naomi watts?) goes in to see the teacher. The teacher is sitting down and the mom sits on the table so that she is stareing down at the teacher. To me that was just an example of good directing. I think he was trying to show how strong of a character she was. The overall writing was bad. There were way too many unanswered questions. The ending was cool, but I was like, ok, that's it...JMO.
Oh and the Others was definetly much better!
