I didn't. We bought silver bands.. My ex wife is the materialistic one.. She got what she wanted. Drives a new Mustang, 67 acres of land, but is still fat (smokes and drinks) and has a miserable marriage... To each his own.

If and when this cat ever gets married, I am going to make a point of it NOT to go overboard. Not my style, I feel like it makes the whole thing kinda cheap. My female friend recently told me she was going on vaca to Bermuda w/ her BF. Obviously he was gonna pop the question. And...he did.

Predictability is kinda boring, IMO. But it all depends on what your girl likes.

Marriage sounds like so much fun man!
