Final Peer Review (ordering 1st Cycle tomorrow)

Hello,

For one reason or other I've been delaying my first cycle. Here are my details according to the sticky:
1 - Age - 27

2 - Lifting History - Lifting for 3 years. This last year was pretty flaky though.

3 - Height - 5'9"

4 - Weight - 163

5 - Estimated BF% (Or at least, lean/think/fat etc...) - 9%

6 - Diet - high in protein, vitamins, good fat. I have suishi for lunch every day (salmon and tuna). Will be going up to 4k calories on cycle.

7 - Goals - I want to only do two cycles before I begin Muai Thai. A bulk and a cut - just once. I also am an endurance athlete though I am not really looking to amp my performance - I really just want to be stronger. My whole life I never waisted any time in the gym. I was totally underdeveloped until I started lifting at 24. The first time in the gym I was crushed under a 75lbs bar bell - and I weighted 175 and had about 30% body fat. I now am at around 8 and weigh only 163 and can nearly hit 200 on the bar bell, do over 20 pullups, and well, look a hell of a lot better. This one-two strategy is just to get me strong enough to be able to fight well and live well.

8 - Proposed cycle (To show that you've at least done a little homework.)

Test Enanthate 500mg EW, 1-12 weeks
Equipoise 400mg EW, 1-12 weeks

I will likely split the injection into two a week and mix the EQ and TE into the same syringe so it's just one shot.

I will keep nolva on hand incase some gyno flares up. I am also concerned about hair loss so I will be using some off-the-shelf Rogain (and I currently alternate shampooing with Nizerol and Nutragena T-gel) My planned PCT is:

PCT (following Jenetic's protocol) - 1,000 IUs HCG 3x/wk (mon/wed/fri) in combination with 20 mgs Nolvadex ED for the first 3 weeks. After, discontinue HCG and continue with 20 mgs Nolvadex ED for an additional 3 weeks.

Any final advice is appreciated. Cash is on hand and money really isn't an issue and I'm ready to go over to western union and do this.
 
I agree with bwl. i think it looks good also. i may throw in some arimidex to control bloat. .25-.50mg ed.

sounds like you have been reading and have researched things to be saying about the things your looking into doing and thats a plus....i will say one thing in the negative in reagrds to what you said about training and the last year being "flaky"......with you spending some (maybe alot) hard earned cash there is no room for being "flaky" when hitting the gym it needs to be consistent and constant...you cant just expect to take this stuff and get huge or bigger (whichever your trying for) realistically...I AM IN NO WAY FLAMING YOU but within your research you should have concentrated on proper lifting techniques and use of the core lifts as a staple as well as the importance of diet as well as sleep and DEDICATED lifting....i will say the cycle looks fine and if you go through with it at least your prepared in that aspect...again not a flame but solid advice.....also if it were me id stop eq 1 week before test (but thats nit picking) so they can clear the body at the same time (eq takes a little longer then enanthate)....if you need anything feel free to PM me and ill help ya out....congrats if ya take the plunge and enjoy the ride.....

Thanks for the advice. I have a very well detailed lifting program that has delivered for me. It is very agressive and complicated so I won't spend the next 30 minutes typing it out. Essentially it is a 4 day lifting cycle using the Needsize 5x5 method (5x5 primary exercise, 2x10 anciliary exercise). Though Forarms are purely a high rep workout.

1 - Chest/Tri/Forarms
2 - Back/Bi/Abs heavy
3 - Legs/Delts/Forarms
4 - Rest
..Repeat..

I also break out each morning with pushups, crunches, and pullups.

Training was flaky this year because of work, a woman and my endurance training. I had a big race. I can balance better this year because work is under control and there is no woman.

sounds like your set....oh i know about time constraints...try having

1 year old (just turned)
job-corrections officer
school-(though that was put on hold till the next part time class roles through in september as the other 2 took precedence right now but they are holding my current grades ,number 3 in the class, till then)

again what i said wasnt meant as a flame because it was nice to have a "newbie" do most of the research on his own....keep us posted bro and goodluck.....k to you
 
Yep, no harm done. Sorry you are stuck in a prison having done nothing wrong.

Something I forgot to mention - I will be doing bloodwork every couple of weeks and will be doing pre-blood work this week.

good idea on the blood work bro as its the ONLY way to know for sure whats going on inside your body...ehhh work wasnt too bad we had one make a good batch of hooch and fall on the steps requiring 4 staples to his head and max block was pounding the doors all night long but other then that wasnt too bad.....

i know this one is going to fall on deaf ears, but why not spend a few months of non-flaky training before you hit it hard? seems like a waste to use gear when you haven't been 100% dedicated. Get a bit closer to your natural potential before you gear it up, since you'd make good gains anyway.

5'9, 165 lbs...I have to ask...are you SURE you will be able to eat properly? Just hate to see a bro not hit it up when he's not "optimal"

you should get kudos for your cycle though, that's one of the "most popular" responses I've seen on all the boards for a 1st cycle (some like to sub deca for EQ)
 
I'm not that messed up right now - I should be fine. I realize that a month off or so after a _really hard_ race is probably a good condition to start this with.

looks good bro. you could add some adex to keep the bloat off. you may also want to throw an oral for the first few weeks because the injectable you are using aren't going to kick in for a while.
 
Good cycle, looks like good planning as well. I was about the same size as you before my 1st cycle - and I just ticked past 190 lbs in my 3rd cycle.

i don't think you would have anything to worry about. you only need a 4 week run at the beginning. you could use something milder like tbol if you wanted to stay away from the stronger stuff. i just don't like the idea of injecting myself and not seeing anything for 3 weeks.
 
Bro you dont need the EQ

the Test E is Pleanty

run 400-500 mgs of Test E a weekf or 12-15 weeks take Adex and Nolva

have a good PCT including! HCG
