Fina pellets lifespan

How long do fina pellets last, if I were to order some, could I order say, enough for 2 years of cycling. Would they last, either as pellets or as liquid?

I can keep them in fridge!

I know the ones that I get are only good for one year, according to the factory markings. I know they usually underrate that type of thing, but I'm on some that expired Jan. 2004 right now and they seem pretty lame. Could be that they break down, probably faster if subjected to high temps or sunlight. Maybe not...
