Fina Follow-Up

Suspension

New member
Shit looked fine once I finished the process. I had a small amount of brown glue on the bottom of the vial, even after sterile and coffee filtering.

Anyway, I preheated the oven to 250 to sterilize further. I heated for 15 minutes, then let cool, then heated, cool, heated, and took out.

Well, on the 3rd time heating the brown glue on the bottom of the vial is almost gone and my solution got cloudy. In fact, the brown shit or whatever, was bubbling up to the top of the vial when i took it outta the oven.

The oven was never over 250 degrees, so i dont think i could have hurt my fine, but now the shit is not clear--but a little cloudy...

Moisture can cause the cloudiness. Did you poke a needle through the top while heating? Unscrew one from a syringe and poke it through a couple times while heating it up. Sometimes water causes cloudiness and when heated it boils off, but then recondenses back into the oil if you dont let release the preasure. Either way, it shouldnt be anything to worry about.

Also, if its an A kit, there was no need to coffee filter, just draw solution avoiding the gunk, there is little or no tren in the gunk anyways, the tren should all be suspended in the magic solution.

I can see the moisture on the top of the vial. I didnt use a needle during the heating process, so you are probly right.

The only thing I thought was strange was that the solution was bubbling. Now all the brown shit is stuck to the sides and/or is almost gone.

What temp can fina withstand when suspended in oil?

Sometimes when I make it, the finished product comes out crystal clear. Other times it comes out a bit cloudy. Not sure why that is because I made them both the same way and steralized them both multiple times at 250 degrees in the oven. Regardless, they both worked just fine with excellent results.

I think fina melts at 186f but I would not take the solution over 250. It shouldnt get damaged until you top 300 or so, but no need to go that high. Remember, you dont want to trash the stopper on the sterile vial either. If its still cloudy, you can heat it again and puncture with a needle to let out evaporated moisture to clear it up. Part of the magic solution is designed to seperate and stick the gunk to the sides of vial although it largely happens prior to sterile filtering. Having the stuff stuck to the sides is a good place for it. Your mix should be fine.

I've always left a needle in the rubber stopper when steralizing in the oven to relieve pressure. I've heard guys say they've blown the lids of the bottles because they forgot to do this.
