fina cough

I got fina cough like a mother today after a 125 mg shot. I did 12 hours ago and I still feel like I'm gonna cough if i take a deep breath. Should I skip my shot tomorrow, i'm running 100mg EOD from now on. I was gonna start that tomorrow and go EOD for 2 weeks and finish. Thanks for the help bros!

Well then go every day then if thats what you were gonna do anyway..its been my experience that the cough comes and goes...but I never felt like coughing 12 hours later ( I have done similar doses ED) maybe you have a cold? or your thinking about it too much?

I know what you're talking about bro. Happens to me every once in awhile. You'll be ok though. It will go away. I think it's actually caused by aspirating or getting the oil in a vein or artery which gets the oil into the lungs which see it as foreign and not wanted. That's why there's that crazy ass nauseating cough. You'll be cool though.

Can anyone confirm that it's when you hit a vein, if that's the case it's preventable. The just means i should actually pay attention instead of the stick and rip method of medicating myself. Thanks bro's

You hit a vein/artery and it went straight to the lungs (the oil)...that's why the residual effect of feeling you're going to cough.

Aspirate, aspirate, aspirate....if there's no air bubble, then you didn't aspirate.

It's not the oil that causes the coughing. It's either the benzyl alcohol or the benzyl benzoate that your lungs are trying to expel. I just remembered that from a post a while back.

Actaully benzyl alcohol is used in many steroids. Fina cough seems to be caused by something in the fina. Also, its not just when you hit a vein. Injecting into a vein is rare, and the effects are NOT pleasant at all. Its not just coughing that happens when you hit a vein. I've hit one once, and I thought I was going to die. I got light headed, sweaty, paranoid...my heart pounded, I coughed and coughed and nearly vomited. It was a lot different than just the ordinary fina cough, which incidentally, can also be very unsettling the first time you experience it.

I theorize (its just a guess, people) that the cough is actually caused by residuals of the inert ingredients found in the pellets. For example, that red color that so many people find in their converted fina is actually (most likely) oxidized methylcellulose (or possibly other inerts).

In any event, a totally complete and pure conversion is not always the result of our home brew attempts, and the fact that the cough seems to be associated with converted fina suggests that the culprit is somewhere in the pellets, not in the injection process.

I believe it is the oil getting into a vein and getting to the lungs. You don't have to inject into a vein to get it though. If you pierce a vein (go all the way through) and shoot, oil may get into the vein when you pull the needle back through. In that case, aspirating wouldn't matter.

I aspirate every time I shoot. I have gotten the cough twice. I stuck myself twice a day on my first cycle (fina/test prop) and I shoot 4 times a day on my current cycle (although one of those is sub-q) so I have plenty of chances to get the cough. I shoot my GH and vit. B12 in the morning and my fina and test prop before bed. Interestingly, the last time I got it, it was with my test prop, not my fina.

Anyway, I know it is uncomfortable but it will pass and you will suffer no permanent harm. Just wait it out.

Ive found if you just put a little in then wait a couple seconds you can tell if your going to get the cough.Go slow,as the cough usally happens before the shot is finished injecting.Just remeber,go slow.

tried the do a little bit idea.....didn't get any symptoms and continued. That seems to work, so hopefully i can avoid this next time. Thanks for the info bro's

That fina cough is a real bitch. I always get really paranoid but wears off in a few minutes.
