Fina Conversion

Well I made my first batch of fina this weekend. I was just curious, is there supposed to be a brown residue or substance at the bottom of the vial after it sits for a while. If I shake it up, it mixes together and makes it a little darker, but when sitting alone it forms at the bottom.

Well I did prefilter, guess I missed some. Can I filter it through a coffee filter now that it is already done.

There isn't any glue in Fina.

Refilter for sure, the coffee filter filters out residues, but use a .25mm filter for post filtering into your vial. I assume it's a reusable vial not an open container.

Also, make sure (I'm sure you did) you bake 3x at 250 for 15 minutes. Kill any lingering bacteria this way.
