Filtration systems... 2 questions

For those that use filtration systems, do you use the plastic receivers that come with the "complete" systems or do you spring extra for the glass media bottle receivers? Does the plastic crack and/or breakdown during filtration?

Also, is there any benefit to using glass fiber prefilters?

get stainless steel or glass, the plastic Nalgene and other brand crack under high pressure, Glass or stainless steel is much better

I would suggest using glass, however if you want to save the pounds the plastic ones will work just fine as long as u dont go mad on the pressure pump
