Ive revieved alot of emails and calls and the posts on this board... You should be able to filter 100cc of the oil thru a Whatman .045 filter, which is pretty standard in all kits.

The oil in the kits is a HUGE factor also, peanut oil is much thicker and heavier than sesame oil....

The filter media in the filter are not friendly with air pockets. So when you push a liquid thru and their is an air pocket in the filter it will tend to clog, crack or filter slowly.

First fill the syringe with liquid, flip the syringe and be sure to get any air out of the syringe just like you were going to do a shot. Once all the air is out of the syringe twist on the filter, and push liquid into the filter until a bit comes out the top, put on the needle and then flip it over and insert into your final vial. This should help out most of your filtering problems. You still need to be careful not to get too much of the crap on the bottom of the vial to send thru the filter.

Also, dont filter cold oil.... if your mixture is cold it will help if you warm it SLIGHTLY, not 1000s of degrees just warm it,, will help in filtering.

That's pretty good advice...

Another option is to draw up the solution with a high gauge needle... This will avoid microscopic binders from entering the filter.
