Filter Question

This may sound silly. But just wondering if there was a way to put a whatman filter up to use later. I just made my first batch of test cyp. I know that the filters are supposed to be good for up to 100ml. I only made 40ml. Can I store them in any way as to where they will be sterile to use again. Thanks.

No, it wouldnt be sterile. Not worth the risk. They are not that expensive.

Also, would it hurt if you got ahead of yourself and had the filter on the syringe when drawing the oil into the syringe and then "filtered" back through the same syringe. This just happened on one vial, have it marked and wasn't sure if I should re-filter the oil. THanks

no. this would defeat the purpose. you would get the particles on the one side of the filter, then when you went to push the solution back through the same filter, you would be pushing the particles back into your new container. just draw solution with one needle, then push through the filter.
