few questions about milk thistle

first of all what exactly does it do? I know it protects liver but what if lets say a pretty healthy man decided to take it would i do damage instead of good?

does it only come in pills?

from the info I got from Pizmo... Its a supplement to help your liver deal with "toxic" prohormones. Also the more you take doesn't affect u in any way... but on Pizmo's cycle he was takin 800 mg/ day and said that was enough.
Comes in pill form, prob aruond 200 mg
