Femara and Arimidex together?

Ok im on sust and fina right now, just threw in the sust two weeks ago, i'm very susceptible to estrogen sides so i was taking one arimidex ED, im trying to stay very lean and hold NO water. I just received some femara, i have 20 femaras, and 30 arimidex right now. What does anyone think of taking an arimidex one day and a femara the next? or should i run the arimidex till i run out then start the femara? just curious here, the arimidex is working wonderfully so far.

No need to mess with something when it is not broken. Mixing the two will make no difference if the Arimidex is working fine. Leave thing the way they are.

I second that opinion. Taking both would be overkill, as they both do the exact same thing. It would be like taking aspirin AND ibuprofen for a headache that responds fine to just one.

While letrozole is a potent antiaromatase, I would consider the claims of elevated IGF-1 resulting from its use as unproven at this time. A 1997 study showed an increase in IGF-1 levels in breast cancer patients treated with letrozole, but a more recent study in hypogonadal males shows no increase (1).

If I were the manufacturer (Novartis I believe) I would be worried if there were an increase in IGF-1 levels. IGF-1 is a potent mitogen implicated in the development and progression of breast cancer, the disease letrozole is designed to combat

Nobody knows why femara and novaldex and bad together, but both taking together is a much worse anti-e than femara taken alone, at the same does...

And nandi hit the nail on the head...

You can take them together, but it has NOT been proven to be more effective IN BREAST CANCER PATIENCE.

PS. The study done on nolvadex lowering IGF-1 did NOT state any percentages and it was done on lactating women. That study holds no water with body builder use.
