I am trying to majorly bulk these days and it is working pretty well.
Mrs. Weapon and I went out yesterday to buy me all new pants since I have grown out of all my existing jeans and khakis.
The question I have is whether y'all experience lethargy when bulking.
I can really feel the extra weight I am carrying around. I had been 135 lbs for years and now I am at 153 lbs with 6" wrists (still too small, I know). 5 years ago I had a 28 inch waist, and yesterday I bought 32 inch waist jeans. I am 5'5".
I find that I am perspiring more and I feel heavier.
I certainly have added fat to my waistline, but when I complain about my belly getting bigger, my friends all laugh and say, "I don't see any fat, man!" I'm smooth, and I've got some love handles, but I'm certainly not fat or overweight to any of my athletically-active friends.
And my wife says that I was too skinny before and she doesn't think I'm fat (and she is very skinny!)
My in-laws are in town and they have paying for nice dinners all week, and I am just about sick of food! I gorge myself, then go home and drink a weight gain shake.
I am feeling very good about my weight going up, and I think that I am looking better abnd better as thepounds add up, but it's also kind of frustrating to be tired and feel so heavy. Will I just adjust to my new bodyweight over time?
Do you guys feel like this when bulking?
