That piece of shit was sitting around for decades waiting for the right moment to be foisted upon the American people. 9-11 created that opportunity to enact the Patriot('s Rolling in their grave) Act and now we will be stuck with it well beyond the time when terrorist threat is no more. Welcome to the world Orwell spoke about.
so very very true, perhaps most have forgoten about the rights robbing conspiracy laws and how they were inacted but il refresh your memeories. The laws were started for a good purpose, to bust leaders of orgainzed crime, aka the mob, as these guys were smart and never got their hands dirty. fine, it worked, but then it sits on the books waiting for some overzealous prosecutor to enact them. now every drug case in america tried by the federal govnt is tried under the conspiracy laws which makes so easy they could send a lamp post to prison if they wanted to. yes they worked very well on the leaders of organized crime but are they really needed to bust street level crack dealers? of course not but once you open pandoras box it cant be closed. once the threat of terrorism is gone future generations will have to worry big time about how those laws will be applied to them.
