what would be the chances of the fbi cracking into someone's hushmail account, and monitoring the transactions they were making and who they were with.... perhaps in order to get the source? would this be common or at all possible?

thats my point. If they were going to do the work and get warrents for a email...why would they get a guy that buys cycles when they could get the sources just as easy and get every little guys as well.

I think alot of people underestimate the FBI's abilities to crack, hack, decrypt, listen, spy... Man, they can look at all this shit... Do you really think they are in their offices scratching their heads going "Damn, they all got hushmail!!! Whatta we do now???"...No, they got this shit on lockdown... Just be glad they don't go after small fries like us...

That Patriot Act makes it possible for them to do all sorts of things without warrants. They use to need a judges permission, but now they can pretty much do whatever they want!
