if you have a windows system - turn on file extensions so that you can see what type it is - they will hide them so that the icon and extension looks like it is an image - but it is really a vbs file that gets executed when you click on it.
if you have file extensions turned on, then you can prevent this...
(this will vary slightly per system, but this is win2k)
in any folder, go to tools, then folder options, then view, and then in there, unselect hide file extensions...
