Is this correct???

ALA (Alpha Linoleic Acid) = Omega-3
CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) = Omega-6

IMHO there are no relation between ALA, CLA and omega 3s and 6s

On my flax seed oil it has....

1 tbsp. has...
Linoleic Acid (Omega-3) - 8g
Oleic Acid (Omega-9) - 3g
Linoleic Acid (Omega-6) - 2g

I just thought the two different omegas (3&6) were ALA and CLA respectively.

Snatch,

Omega 3 is alpha linolenic acid, and omega 6 is alpha linoleic acid. There are different forms such as gamma linolenic acid (GLA), and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). Both are just different chemical structures of essential fatty acids. GLA will still provide you with omega 3's, and CLA will provide you with omega 6's. The whole omega family is a branch of the polyunsaturated fat group. Hope this helps.
