My mum wants to lose weight, she had thought of buying some speed off a mate but i advised her not to, she doesnt want her sleep pattern disrupted because of her job, what do you guys suggest? Clen? Would that be ok? She is late 40's 5'4" about 9 stone (55 kilos), she used to be 7 stone and would like to get back to around that, she is active and eats well.
 
Do the speed in the morning! Seriously what kind of post is this? A diet would work. Maybe even a little cardio too. Here's a little saying my grandfather told me, a little hard work will go a long ways.

diet and cardio are the best weight loss supps on the market!!!

If she feels that she really NEEDS something to assist her, check out the products from the AF store. T-rex kicks ass, and Sesapure has good marks. They have a ton of products that are far safer than speed and will assist your mum in her achieving her goals.
 
I lost 110lbs in 10 months by taking this super duper mega supplement. It's pretty strong stuff and most people can’t handle it. It's called... get ready, eating healthy and exercising and comes in a 50 count bottle. ;)

Seriously, I did it by tracking what I eat and going to the gym at least 5 days a week. This was 10 years ago and I've kept it ALL off by changing my lifestyle. I had to stop the double Whoppers with cheese with extra mayo and extra onions. That was my normal lunch and dinner for years. I would have eaten it for breakfast too but those bastards wouldn’t make them until 11:00 :p

No No! Shes done all that and still doing it, she really eats fuck all and goes to aerobics all the time.
 
so tell her to keep doing it. if she follows this, it is impossible not to loose weight.
eat less cals then you burn during the day.
so if I burn 2000 cals per day, then I will eat 1800 cals I definitely loose weight!!!!!!

How do you burn 2000 cals a day???

a typical young adult male body uses somewhere around 2000 cal a day, so lets pretend your body uses exactly 2000cals per day. if you eat 1800, you will loose weight, if you eat 2200cals you will gain weight. that is of course if your body uses exactly 2000cals.
have'nt you heard of statements like "...based on a 2000 cal diet..." or look on the back of any food the numbers are based on a 2000 cal diet?
 
the body is a machine. it needs fuel. if one did not replace in cals what the body uses eveyday you would waste away
 
Get her to go to her GP, ask as him for advice, he may give her a blood test and check out her thyriod function. It completely free service as doctors dont charge in the UK.

I think you may find its down to her age and more cardio is required with cleaner eating habbits should do the trick, but i would not recomment speed, clen etc to my mom.
 
if anything is gonna fuk wit ya sleeping patterns it would be speed, i know its an apptite suppressant but dam, thats a crazy way to loose weight.

Like swolk said, make her burn more cals a day than she consumes.

LMFAO..... Dude that was some funny shit.... I'm still laughing at that one..... Seriously, it's funny to me that a son is telling his MUM not to do speed.... That's great advice, and how does a 110lbish woman think she needs to use speed to lose weight? I don't mean to laugh at your post bro, but it is kind of crazy.... Tell her to keep up the diet and cardio, she doesn't need drugs....

This is very good advice - get her to go and get a full check up with her GP. Get her to mention that she is concerned about thyroid function and she should be able to get a full blood test. A good doc will also include other checks, her iron levels etc, this will provide a ref to her general health - always a good starting point.

It's definitely harder to shed pounds when you're that bit older. Starvation type diets and stims are not the answer. She needs to eat small meals regularly - speed up her metabolism. If she doesn't already do her cardio in the morning I'd suggest changing her routine to incorporate it. Not eating carbs after 7pm also helps.

Take a look at her sugar intake, especially flour and grain products. Purge out as much as possible and replace with veggies. Cut the fruit way back.

Her blood testing may reveal some hormone changes too. She may need female HRT. This is not a bad thing. It can really help her.
