Fat Freeze procedure

Did anyone have had fat freeze procedure done? My BF and I just saw some advertisement and curious if anyone can comment on the experience and provide feedback. thank you

Never had it done. Seems like a potential problem for the fitness industry if you ask me, if would be fit people just resort to fat freezing for results.

Regardless of those people... I would love to try this myself, it sounds promising, but at the same time it's still difficult to believe you can just freeze fat?

unless there is a way to make you poop out the fat, i dont see how this can be permanent ( assuming that you can actually remove fat from an area by freezing it). liposuction actually removes the fat. otherwise i would assume that the fat would just run around your blood and resettle.

I recently heard about this from a friend, whos Doctor does this procedure in real life. He said that he would see patiteints before and after the 4 treatments and was amazed at how much thinner they looked .

Seems a bit daunting... Should we not focus on hormonal fat loss... through the foods we eat and proper training? Yes, it does work, but really the body disposes of the frozen fat cells by metabolizing them since they are "damaged". It would appear easier to eat clean and train properly and get lots of sleep, and manage your stress. A bit of work, but you could do it, no problem. The procedure is around $800-1000.00 so if you have the funds, do it.

old thread but....

the science behind it was proven at the UofM here in Minnesota and it does work..

however liplight is even more effective, in fat/"inches" lost via the lymphatic system..

check it out, be warned however, if you are not stable in your food consumption what happens is the fat is stored in other areas in the body..

Since we don't perform the fat freeze procedure in our offices, I can only comment on the procedure we perform to get rid of excess fat - and that is SmartLipo laser liposuction. The laser fiber basically melts away the fat cells that the laser comes into contact with. Due to the heat in the laser, the collagen in the skin contracts, producing tighter, firmer skin. Definitely a bonus that regular liposuction can't offer. It's true that the fat cells removed will never grow back (once they're gone, your body does not grow new fat cells). However, patients who have liposuction must be careful to keep a healthy diet and to exercise because the remaining fat cells are still prone to getting larger with weight gain (as any other part of the body would be). Best of luck with whatever procedure you choose. I hope you are very pleased with the outcome and results.

I actually work in an office that performs this procedure. It works! It freezes fat cells in the area that the applicator is applied. The fat cells die and macrophages consume them and they are processed through our waste. Since fat cells do not typically multiply, it is a permanent fat cell reduction. In damaging the fat cells, it also seems to damage the collagen and provides awesome skin contraction when collagen regenerates.

I had a Cryolipolysis treatment a number of years ago, as I was feeling frustrated with my gym efforts. I've always been very fit & healthy but was finding certain areas hard to shift. I was so impressed by my results, that I retrained and opened a clinic.

We suggest that those who are already looking after themselves are the best candidates. Apoptosis (the process that is triggered to break down the fat cell after the cooling) is a natural process, and works best if our bodies are working best.... drinking lots of water, avoiding fatty foods, encouraging good circulation with regular exercise.

We have many happy customers and independent reviews - pop by and have a look for more information, our clinic is called "Ice Body Sculpting" in Cardiff, a quick search on google will find it
