Fat Free Cheese

I always thought that the reason dairy was bad was because of it's saturated fat content. Is that wrong? How else is dairy bad?

Why is dairy bad for cutting?

yes..... why ?

because of lactose ?
unless you are lactose intolerant a little amount of lactose won't be bad for you

Bump for ddc to back-up his one-liner. The only thing I can think of as to why dairy would be bad for cutting would be the sugar in it. We are currently out of cheese at my place, but I am willing to be that there is not much sugar in it!

cheese = lots of proteins (casein especially + whey) and fat + a few carbs (lactose)

Skim milk still containls lactose... lactose can easily turn to fat...

drink the lactaid 100 milk... the taste is the SAME as skim and
will not convert to fat because there is not lactose
