1100+ Kbps here as well. The main thread index is only 125k in size, so there's no excuse for it taking longer than a second or two to load.

It can't be the EF server because with so many users accessing it at a time, surely NO ONE would be able to download shit. I'm convinced it has to do with the board software. Whoever programmed it/modified it has either spaghetti coded it to hell or is doing a great deal of unnecessary work in it.

I don't know how anyone could possibly screw it up like that, though. It's only text. It doesn't take that long to fool with text.
