That's not what I heard.

:)

I don't know much about these clothes so you got the wrong person. If it's comfortable, hell, wear it. However, you do live in Philly, right? Well, proceed at your own risk.

Listen up now.

My gym clothes is more FUBAR than yours, so STFU if you want to bring it on. FU if you disagree. Meet me afterwards if you wanna to SNAFU.

Don't make me open up a CAN ....

Keepin my Gym duds in line is definitely a PITA.
I'm always worried I look like I shop at B.I.G. K

As for headwear, I'm strictly B.A.H.G.

Bad Ass Head Gear... aka BARMA

Fuck em'. They're not worried about offending you.

Well I wish someone would make some pants that fit women with a large backside!

Made by black folk for black folk. Imagine clothing made by white folk for white folk, by mexican folk for mexican folk, etc, etc.

I'm not 100% sure, but I dont think by "us" they meant African-Americans. I think they meant "us" as in anyone who agreed with expressing themselves the way they did. Unless someone can quote one of the 4-6 African American men who started FUBU Clothing, I am skeptical of what people commonly equate FUBU to stand for, which is basically "For blacks by blacks".

So maybe it stands for: For Underage Laborers, by Underage Laborers

that was pretty funny.

but don't you think that a white guy that was into the hip-hop culture could wear FUBU? Like eminem? maybe it's more of a hip hop thing than a white/black thing.

Exactly. I own a FUBU jersey that I got as a gift.

They dont sell FUBU at Wal-mart. A Fubu jersey is like $75

walmart---ross's---marshalls whatever ---its all the same to me........Fubu---Tommy Hill----why would anyone want to wear shit that is sold to the masses....

personally i don't care what anybody wears. live and let live. personally FUBU isn't my cup of tea, because the clothes seem a little too oversized.

Nike T-shirts are typically oversized by .75 or so to 1 whole size
So XL = XXL

Fubu T-Shirts & Jerseys are typically over sized by 1-2 sizes.
So XL = XXL or maybe even XXXL

Actually, it originally meant "For us niggas by us niggas" They couldnt put that on a shirt, and wearing something that says FunBun is gay, so they shortened it to FUBU

I am not 100% sure either, but that is my understanding and I guarantee it is the undestanding of most black kids who wear the stuff.

NB I am sure Hip Hop types wear it cuz it is cool, just like they say nigga cuz it's cool too. It's pretty harmless really, in the grand scheme of things, but I don't support it.

FUBU on a white guy just screams wannabe to me.

The story I heard was that the company was founded by a black man, and once it got big, he sold out to a corporation.
