When you're caught staring at someone, what do you do?

Keep staring?
Look elsewhere?

I have no clue. I catch people staring at me all the time.

THere are cultures that think it's rude to look at someone in the eyes when you're talking to them. It took me a lifetime to be able to do this myself. It's absolutely necessary in the business world.

I generally don't look at people. I've got tunnel vision, I've been like that my whole life. It's quite sad, really.

Which eye do focus on? I've noticed it's impossible to actually look at both eyes. Or is that just me?

when i catch someone staring at me i'll stare them down till they look away. if someone catches me i try to immediately look away

wiggle my tongue like I'm licking pum pum

I've caught dudes with kids, staring at my ass, at the gym.

It depends on who I'm staring at... most of the time I smile. If it's a certain person I wink and run my tongue over my lips at him. :qt:

Throw them a quick friendly smile...if it's returned, cool. If not, look elsewhere.

Here's a little trick. Instead of trying to stare into someone's eyes (some people simply can't do this due to nerves, whatever)--look at the bridge of their nose between their eyes and focus on that instead. Relieves the "pressure" of making eye contact while giving the illusion of eye contact.

Always smile..otherwise you just look like a psycho

I maintain eye contact. Women are much more likely to break eye contact than men. Men are more likely hold eye contact for a longer amount of time. I intentionally make a lot of eye contact. It's more confident plus more personal.

i look at their lips when talk, but then i just get hypnotized cause lips are red, and red makes me hypnotized.

then i completely lose track fo what they are saying and sometimes i even start to drift off to sleep. (im not kidding either)

True about men vs women

So, when a woman holds eye contact it's a bit disturbing

I'd like to strangle the next person that stares at me.

So, this weekend, i was in the store...caught this dude staring...couldn't help but think of all the useful options I'd learned from all my fellow EFers....so I just walked up and asked him if he wanted to have a good old fashioned stare down. He looked at me as if I had just pulled his underoos over his forehead. *shrugs* :whatever:

What a weirdo he was. Pftt.

I think I have an um "extensive" imagination. :lmao:

What? You didn't like the good ol fashion stare down? I would've kicked his butt, totally.

Stare down

I don't know if it's something I'm doing or if I'm just more aware lately. Sometimes I stare back, more often I look away but keep my head up. WTF is something on my face?

Depends on the reciprocation. If it's an invitingly positive one then you keep staring and hopefully you know how to play the rest..
