Expired gear question

My friend found an bunch of old Testovirons in his cabinet the other day, he says they expired on 7/2005. He wasn't sure if they're good or not, but I think he might end up throwing them out in which case I would just take them and use it myself. Is it possible that they're still good? I figure if exp. dates are about 6 years from manfacture date, they should still be good to go. What do you guys think?

I would say there still good to go..didnt expire that long ago..

They'll last quite awhile depending on how they were stored. A cool dark place is best. Your bathroom medicine cabinet is bad due to steam from the shower, etc.

if they are amps then the glass would protect them from steam.

But only being 6-months past due, use them up!

Well he didn't have them in the bathroom, it was in his room hidden away. I might as well take them anyways because I don't think he is going to use it.

I've taken test that was 2 years expired. And it was still plenty good!
