Expiration dates on clomid ????

I've got this guy that said he'll sell me some clomid for half price cause it expired a few months ago. I want to know if that shit goes bad or what , cause I've got Vikadans that are 2 years past expiration and still work just like the day I got them.
should I use this as a barganing tool or leave it alone

I thought it would be OK , kinda like twinkies they stay good for ever the FDA just makes them put dates on them.
