Experienced Spot Injectors...Please advise

Last night was my second injection. Monday I went with the right quad and everything was okay, a little nervous since it was my first time but overall okay. Yesterday as I was injecting into my left quad something felt a little funny and then I had a muscle spasm. I pushed it farther and it went away. No real pain just wondering if I totally drove through a nerve or maybe just brushed by a small nerve in the quad. Like I said no pain, no loss of feeling in the quad. I did have a few droplets of blood after I took the needle out. If this happens again should I pull out and find another spot or am I good to go. I would appreciate any advice you guys have to give.

If you hit the nerve then you would know it.In a few hours you wouldn't be able to walk.I speak from experience.Sometimes you'll hit scar tissue and that will make it a little harder to get the pin in and may result in a few drop of blood afterward. As long as you can walk and bend you leg then you are fine.

If you went through a nerve you would have known for sure. But next time - go in slow if you start to feel the pin getting close to a nerve just pull back a little and go in at a different angle.

It's happened to me a few times doing quads and calves. I can't tell you I know what it's from though. Maybe a combination of anxiety and not having the muscle fully relaxed. As long as it stops spasming you should be fine.

You're fine. You were shoving a sharp object about an inch or more into your leg, obviously the body can have a reaction to this. My advice for spot injections, is to not use the same sites too often. I have a lot of scar tissue built up in my bi's and it sucks. I was bleeding after like every injection towards the end of my last cycle.

what is this stuff all about if you hit a nerve you will feel it. of course if you hit a nerve you will feel it..that is what a nerve is. there are large nerves and small nerves all over the body. yes it is a nerve that you hit in your quad...was it a large major nerve...probably not. it is nothing to worry about. it has happened to me many times.
