Experienced car mechanics. Question.

i was going to say inspect and clean the sensors, but you already beat me to it

i used to have a taurus SHO with the same problem, abs light always on

replaced the sensors, reset the comp, problem gone

Thanks. That's what the guy originally wanted me to do, but told me to check the #9 pin for the codes first. They said it was indeed a bad module, so I avoided the sensors altogether.

BUT...... Stupid question about the pins.... please answer.
Two rows of 8 pins... top row bottom row like this...

Which one is the #9 pin? wtf? I started from the top left and counted across then went down to the bottom left and started. #9 to me was the bottom row first pin on the left.

Which one is the #9 pin? wtf? I started from the top left and counted across then went down to the bottom left and started. #9 to me was the bottom row first pin on the left.

the #9 pin is either the first or last one on the second row
