Incorrect view. The bar only works the chest in one plane, that is an efficent way of incorporating all of the chest muscle fibers. That only trains the chest for one work plane. The best way to build all of the chest is to hold your hands in front of your chest and apply pressure against each of them, then keeping your shoulders still move your hands the full range of motion of the chest and then also work your way up towards your head and then continue the motion downward towards your feet. Adding appropriate resistance with the opposing limb. This will incorporate far more muscle tissue and hence greater muscle growth. Of course if you just want a bench press number for whatever reason, then keep doing it your way. But if you want an awesome chest, think outside of the box. I myself am creating a superhuman.
Yes, in some reality he his, that is your answer. Infinite possibilities, infinite realities. Dualism is the answer you seek??? See if you believe that he is sitting on his back, then he is! B/c he is in a reality. Do you believe me? See its that simple if you believe me, then its true!
Thanks for the update... I am familar with the problem as well as physics and calculus (though this is more like pre-calc)...
I was actually commenting on the fact that his person has such ideal round measurements.... and also the fact that if the person was 6ft tall that it would be more accurate to use the height to the shoulder as the hyp of the triangle...
To translate Fonz's prior post for all you non-braniacs, he says the muscular effort required to support the individual will vary as the person rises/lowers.... at the full extension, it will be only ~89lbs, increasing as the person nears the floor to a maximal value approaching 200lbs... however it will not ever hit 200lbs, due to the fact that at that angle of 0 degrees, the person would actually be on the floor.... (thus no effort needed to support them)
the force through the person's feet will follow in a converse manner (high at the top and low at the bottom of the movement)
ANother way of looking at things is that words are just variables with whatever meaning you give to them. That is observer dependent so the correct answer lies in the observer's interpretation. Simple Quantum theory, so it can be interpreted that "his back" actually means: "your face" so in some way you are asking me is Wodin sitting on your face?
I believe he is, see its that simple. I believe that in some reality he is sitting on your face, b/c he is... sitting on your face. See what I mean! Simple quantum theory proves my statements. hahahaha!
