Im sure a lot of you guys prolly havent even heard of this product or may have but just in passing. Its a 5th generation(if im not mistaken) aromatase inhibitor. It takes things to the next level, beyond anastrozole(arimidex), My question is would anyone spend the money for it if it was avaiable? Lets say $7 per 25mg tab? Or is everyone just happy using anastrozole?

Zyg--I pay $60.00 for 30 aromasin (25mg). Insurance covers it, for it is legitimate for use in men with hyperestrogenism and gyno tendencies.

95%???? who came up with 95% for arimidex????

Aromasin, i'm starting on it in a week. I'm hoping it will work much better than arimidex, for guy who use very large amounts of androgens, the arimidex is quite often displaced off the aromatase enzyme resulting in higher levels of estradiol. The aromasin will eliminate this, the only question will be, whether or not your body will compensate by producting more aromatase. We will see.

My bad...I thought i read somewhere in the past that arimidex was 95% effective. I just did a search and can't find the thread. However, I did find one that said that aromasin was 95% effective. But I'd still say that arimidex will suffice in most cases, for most people.

Doc, is the $60 your copay for it or off the shelf no insurance price?

greg zulak talked about Aromasin in musclmag last yr.....arimidex works so well i dont see why id bother using that stuff unless it was cheaper.....also arimidex is site specific and doesnt decrease igf in the liver liek nolvadex, and who knows about this Aromasin stuff.

what is evern better than arimidex which i have about 30 capsules of that were made at a compunding pharmacy is FEMURA...this stuff is so damn good that is supposedly even converts estrogen back to test...im not sure if thats true but if it does that in addition to being an anti aromatase then this stuff is the shit....and the dosages are in mcgs like 300mcg a day..my caps are 100mcg each. i havent used this stuff yet and wont until its popular enough so i can get some user feedback,,,so ill just stick with arimidex.

Isn't FEMARA? That's Letrozole, and works the same way anastrozole does.Bur letrozole is weaker than anastrozole, and comes in 2,5 mg cps.

yeah thats what its called...u sure its weaker than arimidex? i thought Femara was some strong shit

The equivalent dose of 1 mg anastrozole is 2.5 mg letrozole. However, letrozole is a potent inhibitor, and as little as 0,5 mg can cause significant estrogen reductions(1).
