i picked up a bottle of L-Glutamine powder 3 days ago, after it was recommended by person in store. I haven't opened it yet so i could return it.

Since i bought i read a little hear and there and see alot of theorectical benefiets, but that they just dont happen because your body destroys most the L-glutamine once its in your stomach.

Should i return this L-glutamine, which is quite an expensive supplement, and pick up a good size bottle of creatine powder.
I've read good things about creatine, helps increase explosiveness in training, which would be helpful with my squats, i am training my vertical basically.

If so l-glutamine is alright, which would be better for things like vertical whey + l-glutamine
or whey + creatine.

p.s i already take MVP, UDO and whey

I love the stuff, I was using it alot during my intense boxing sessions and while the intensity of hte sessions increased, I feel that my recovery time dropped from 2-3 days to 1-2 days, with mostly the recovery being over on the first day, and my soreness going away. Plus I haven't been sick in the 9months Ive been taking it, but I guess I should count the times I have hugged the toilet after someone's 21st Birthday, but naw I won't count self induced sickness.

Now Im not taking it as I am on a CKD and have heard from several people that it dipped them out of Ketosis, but I yearn the Recovery aspects of it.

You will get a lot of varying opinions on whether glutamine works or not. I find it works great for me. It helps keep me healthy when I"m dietting down for a show and I find it really helps with my recovery as well. I take in 20-30grams every day.
I would choose Glutamine over creatine any day!
