Example Cutting Diet?

I need an example cutting diet. I'm 6', 165 lbs, 11% BF or so, I assume. Possibly less...

Either way, I hear it's good to eat 5-6 meals a day even when cutting, because it keeps your body's metabolism relatively high. I hear maintenance calories is 12/lb of BW... so that makes it like 2000 or so for me, yes?

In order to lose weight then, would I simply eat less calories than this, do cardio whenever I feel up to it, and just eat alot of protein still, but keep my 6 meals a day?
 
do cardio whenever u feel up to it? yaaa sure man maybe even once a month. with that attitude ur not gonna loose any fat whatsoever.
 
Maybe youre doing too muchn cardio so when you do your lifting then it is counter producitve because of the excessive caloric defecit. For people of your size and weight, youre light and have low levels of bfat, so implement more lifting into your routine, cut one or 2 days out of cardio, 7 days is too much. Replace them with lifting, the more muscles you have the higher your RMR is.
 
Ahh! No, I'm not talking about trying to gain though. Let's say I wanted to lose the BF I have on me now... would 4-5 cardio days, lifting, and a caloric defic do it? What would I stay away from? Higher complex carbs?
