evil classical music

I know of one, can't think of the name. It is a Gregorian Chant from King Arthur, the one with the English actors. Not that new one that came out. That one is crap.

Wagner - the valkyre
Orff - O'fortuna.
1812 Oveture - Ludwig Von. That's so much evil as its just loud.

The Valkyre is about a valkyri warriros death and entrance to valhalla.

O'fortuna by orff is about a guy losing his shirt. Literally losing it not figurative. (It's the musice from the Omen.)

Muggorsky- Night on Bald Mountain. It's the music from fantasia when the demons and skeletons are rising and dancing.

Cheers,
Scotsman

Yeah, Wagner had some stuff that was evil enough for even Hitler to listen to while he planned his conquests.

The beginning of Rachmaninoff's 2nd piano concerto is evil that builds up and overflows in the first minute or so. Look for recordings by either Idil Biret or Jeno Jando.
Rach's preludes are powerful sounding and also good for just building/releasing tension, such as opus 32 no. 10 in B minor and no. 4 in E minor. Idil Biret's are good for these as well.

All classical music, as is the case with other forms, is best played loudly.

Prokofiev's 2nd piano concerto

Scriabin's op.8 no.12 etude by Knut-Erik Jensen

i've posted the same question a few times, might run a search in the music forums under my handle... "the village" soundtrack is pretty cool
