I'm not sure how long this post will last, but if Fonz is a man of his word, he would want everyone to see what he posted.

Check out the last page of the thread on "Mini-Cycles" After some stupid bickering finally died down, Mr. Fonz HAD to come on and start fanning the flame. I just wish he would try and be more original. It's always the same petulant name calling. No reason. He just wants to do it.

I implore all members who are serious about ending the flames to recognize this and let it be known that these type of posts should not be tolerated. It just incites arguing , it degrades the board and it insults the dignity of its members. It's time to call a spade a spade. See who the guilty party is . Read the thread. Judge for yourself. Some may even be okay with his actions, but I believe no rational, reasonable person can defend this type of behavior. It must stop. But it can only stop if enough people speak out against the real perpetrators.

I want the flames to end. Do you?

I dont really think anyone should be getting involved between you and Fonz that does not need to be. However, Nelson, if Fonz were to again start flaming you at the end of the mini cycles post without you having said anything, it would be different. But there was one small sentence which was most probably the reason he got on you again:

"And thanks to everyone for the support. Not looking for accolades, but it's nice to be able to post without all the adolescent bantering."

I believe that is why, although you say it had died down, he said what he did. I think that you could have left the sentence out of that post. Just trying to give a bird's eye view of the situation.

With all due respect to our members and mods, I am locking this thread. I can do without another 19 page flame war at this point. This post is a flame or at the least is enticing a flame war and I really don't want to go there.

Simple people, lets share knowledge is a respectable way to everyone and get back to what makes this board great. I am sick of seeing threads about this and that horseshit. Either people bitching becuase threads get moved or locked, people breaking the rules or stupid flame wars. Lets get back to the basics, SHARING KNOWLEDGE.
