bla bla bla - this is probably one of those free spyware removers that actually add spyware on to your pc rather than deleting it. I know you wanna spy on everyone!

I still think the link is funny as fuck, but I feel sorry for anyone that doesn't know much about computers and might get frustrated not knowing how to remove the spyware/viruses.
 
Honestly, I don't think things can get any worse for me!

I click shut down, my laptop restarts.

I click restart my pc shuts down.

I click download my pc crashes.

I open a new browser and I don't know wtf my pc does.

I must have viruses coming out of my ass but I am sure my computer even freaks the shit out of the viruses.

Did you fall for the shitty link? Cuz I did.....3 times within about an hour......I've run virus and spyware scans, and nothing.....my system's all good in the hood bro

Nope, this has been a long time in the making and my laptop has been going from bad to worse. I need to format and sort some shit out. It is acting weirder than a 2 cent whore on valentines day.

It is XP.

It's rather weird - I have a large Active Desktop recovery logo on my desktop when I boot up and it gives me options on how to get it back to normal... It would actually be good if any of the things it tells me to do works!

Seriously, what the fuck kind of computer restarts when you click shut down and shuts down when you click restart.

Hmmmmm, do you have access to a clean copy of XP? Not one from whomever made your computer?

This computer is 1.5 years old (ACER) it came straight from ACER outlet and came with original software. The problem only started a few months back so haven't looked too much in to it. Just thought it's past its sale by date.

Thing is I got like 30gb of great 18+ movies on here, and when I say good, I am not talking about the average run of the mill stuff. I guess I need to by an external HD real soon :(

Yep...get an External....back up the good shit, find a "Student" or "Corporate" copy of xp somewhere, give yourself a clean install and enjoy not having any bloatware....

in all seriousness i need some good shit to get this comp goin good again, can someone hook me up with the best and most important free shit out there. i aint been on the web for awhile so i dont know what the latest and greatest out is. id greatly appreciate it. :)
 
Guys, the only shit you should download for "free" should be from
download.com <--- site proven and trusted to contain 0 spyware or virus

adaware is a good free antispyware
all this other bullshit is usually pay per click/download and is shit you dont want trust me i know. thx

lol it wasn't this thread FYI. It sits dormant for awhile then bam! Just run the spybot search and destroy and it'll find em all, then click "fix" and it will remove them.

No, it was. I know because I just did a sweep on this computer a week prior. Only sites I've visited since then are EF, espn, and foxsports.

Typical spyware virus, it'll pop something up saying there's a problem and windows or whatever is gonna run a check. Its not your operating system running a check, its the virus. I didn't let it get this far, but I've seen it a million times, they'll then link you to a site that will remove the virus for a fee. It will remove that one, and plant others to later do the same damn thing. Just run the god**** spybot you bastard!

Someone must be finding them and deleting, I don't see any of the threads now. Unfortunately I found it so funny when it happened to me I k messaged a bunch of people that link. Hopefully they see this thread before clicking it. :worried:

Just right click and choose a new background for your desktop and the active desktop should go away.

Get adaware, it's free and good.
