Back in the day, us mature (vs. old) members relied on Bill Phillips' Anabolic Reference Guide. In this day and age, I would probably get a basic primer on aas usage from William Llewellyn and then also get Beyond Steroids (for hGH, IGF, etc.) from Anthony Roberts.
Also, for sure, get Legal Muscle from Rick Collins. Besides the law, he also has a primer on anabolics specifically in the book. It's all fun and games until someone gets caught. Once you are in "the system" you are always in the system. You are only a first time offender once! Be careful, know the law, know the implications of possession, get Legal Muscle from Rick Collins.

Legal Muscle is great. And I'm proud to be credited in it. But it's a seperate issue. If you're looking to learn about the applications of steroids, it's not the right source. But it's a must for anyone who wants the know the legal ramifications of steroid use.

Legal Muscle is a great book on the law...My steroid book actually has a brief section in it, which was written by a lawyer (presented in interview format). It only covers the basics.

I have read quite a few and the

Anabolic Reference guide by Phillips is about the best,

actually is the best no close seconds.

The book cost less then 10 bucks, and a wealth of unbiased information

That book has some good stuff but it was written over 20 years ago.

Granted, too many people overthink the application of steroids and but a lot of that info was off base. Even Phillips admitted WAR was better than his book and WAR has been eclipsed by books such as Anthony's.
