Ever come home from the gym and almost pass out in the shower?

Today I finished my stabliity ball class feeling so tired I couldn't even do cardio.

I came home, stretched out, and ate a sensible meal of a chicken sandwich on whole wheat bread. My sandwich was good, but I wanted to try the new FiberOne cereal my mom had bought, which by the way is quite tasty and fun to eat, and I think the sweetner in it made me crave carbo's soo bad, so I ended up eating like 20 crackers, and more and more cereal till I had eatin at least a full cup of it (which isn't bad if it had been my meal, but my sandwich would have been fine for me because I planned on striving to eat again in 2-3 hours....i'm trying to space out my meals more)

Then I took my shower shower, which made me so relaxed that I wanted sooooo bad to be in bed at that exact moment.....but I didn't lay down in the bathtub and fall asleep, I was a good girl and finished my shower lol.

Is this a sign that I need to sleep more?

never did that after coming home from the gym but when i was 11 i got my bathwater too hot and passed out and hit my chin on the bathroom sink, i still got a scar:(

yes. back in high school we had varsity bball practice before school (had to be there at 5 am and practiced til 7 am before homeroom and 8). i've passed out but it was from glycogen levels being low (low blood sugar).

hadnt eaten in 12 hours at that point and had a hard practice.

awww :-(. When I was little I couldn't stand too-hot of water.

I still remember a real story of when an older sister who was like 10 or something was helping her little brother take a bath. She tested the water before putting him in, and it was too hot, so she like turned it down, but had mistaked the cold for the hot water and ended up turning the hot water up , putting her brother in it, walking away for a while, while the water filled up, and came back and her brother had been burned :-( (to death, I think)....sooooo sad.

were you in the shower?

I swear warm water makes you sleepy. This is part of the reason I can't take a shower in the morning, unless I do short, light morning cardio first.

had just gotten out of the shower and sitting on the bench in the locker room. leaned over and then passed out.

The first time I used creatine, I had a heavy leg day. Finished my workout, put a spoonfull of creatine in my mouth, and walked out the gym.

Not even 5 minutes later, I had to pull my car over so I could puke. I was so flush I thought I was going to pass out. Plus, it was like 90 degrees outside and superhot inside the car

In general I come home so hungry I'm ready to chew my own arm off. lol

I threw up in my mouth during a full locust pose this morning. Damn it. I get nauseated often from that kind of energy expenditure in that sort of heat but I've never actually had that happen. Ick.

Not unusual to be tired after coming home from the gym. You've just expended major amounts of energy in a short period of time. Your body"s telling you it needs to recharge. It's why many bodybuilders take naps. 20 minutes lator and your good to go.
