Ethical question about war

You have a family. You have children. There are people in another part of the world that plan on killing your family and children. They are hiding amongst innocent civilians. The only way to make sure that they do not get the chance to kill your family is if we nuke them or drop bombs on them and kill innocent civilians as well as the perpetrators. What choice do you make?

I don't like war either. But if it came down to 100,000 innocent people dying in another part of the world or my child. I have to save my child. Tough choices.
