In your guys' opinions what are the absolute essentials in supplementation for a serious athlete or anyone seriously into weight training.

Right now all I use is a Vitamin B complex. Minerals. Whey. And I'm about to start using a NOX blend. X-Pand (this includes creatine and L-Glutamine.)

In my opinion all of these are the absolute essentials. I hear people talk about BCAA's a hell of a lot. So am I getting everything I need? Am I taking anything I don't need? And what is so good about BCAA's? (What do they do?)

bcaas include leucine, isoleucine, and valine.

supposedly, bcaas are the primary building blocks of muscle.

used a lot of time for burn victims and cancer patients to help them gain/maintain weight and increase appetite.

most good whey proteins are loaded with the BCAA's you need.

I just realize that the X-pand has it in there, and so does my Whey so I'm set.
