Erasing pics

Lets say we post a pic, and we are totally owned by the other members or we just don't like it later on. can we erase it? I know with other threads there is a time limit to how long you can edit or erase them. Can we delete our pics at any time?

If you link the picture from an external website, and then remove the file from that external website, then the picture on here will disappear.

However if you use a standard feature on this site to upload the pictures, then they basically become the property of this website.
