Epistane and birth control

Hello everyone.
I plan on starting a cycle of epistane for he first time. My diet and exercise in order, as I've been doing this for a while. I was wondering whether or not it would effect my birth control. I am on the depo shot.

Why epistane and not var? Epi may have less desirable effects like bp issues, dry joints and lethargy. I believe it is also more androgenic than Var. I'm not sure about its effects with birth control, but the bp could be an issue with that. How were you planning on dosing it?

Well if I have my info correct epistane is legal and var isn't. I would totally take var, but I don't have a source near where I live. I was planning on running it for 6 weeks just 10 mg daily.

I don't think it would effect it, but its nothing I have anything to back up and its solely an opinion. Maybe post the same question in the women's fitness area to get some better responses from our females on the board.

epi is one of the more gentler designer hormones but don't for a second believe its something to mess around with.

when you say 'mess with birth control' .. what do you mean by that? affecting birth control working?

Yes I know hormones are not something to mess with. I want to do all my research before I try it, which is why I'm here.

Yes, I want to make sure it won't make the birth control ineffective. I have one son and don't plan on having another child soon :-)

Maybe this would be a better question for a physician... The complexity of this matter is a little beyond what we normally discuss here and id personally hate to see someone steer you in the wrong direction. If you would like to know more about this designer steroid then we're more than happy to help but, it's hard to say how it will effect birth control

Thanks I guess I will have to do that :-) another question, what is the difference between epistane and Epi strong? And do u know about a good pct to use after for a women?

Things are slow in the women's section and I just wanted to see if anyone here knew the answer..

Just a suggestion here....to eliminate the possibility of your birth control being ineffective, is alternative forms of birth control an option while running Epistane? I.e. condoms?

That's a great suggestion, I will try that!!!!
Even though I doubt my fiance would like the idea lol :-)

I know its probably not HIS favorite form of birth control, but I'm sure he can do it for a few weeks while you are on. Its better than not getting any at all

He could also drive the alternative route. There's a dirt road that some say leads to the same destination... It's the back way.

OP, there's no difference between epi-strong and epistane, unless you consider quality. I always use epi-strong with great results

Lol thank you everyone for helping me explore different forms of birth control :-)
