Why do some online illegal steroid sellers also sell ephedrine. Isn't ephedrine legal?

Quebec is Canada - it's one of our provinces. (although a few years ago we had quite the political fiasco when they wanted to separate and become their own nation!! but that never happened!).

I'm in Ontario, and while it's true that the American versions of Xenadrine and Hydroxycut are sometimes hard to find (we have ephedrine-free "Canadian" versions that are much more prominent on the store shelves) they are certainly available (and legal) if you look hard enough. Most smaller, independent stores carry pure ephedrine HCL.

Not sure about Quebec because I rarely go there...and it's possible that things are different. Cheers all!

I went to the GNC today, and I was looking for some XXenadrine, and I got to talking to the sales guy, and he told me that the Canadian version of the RFA-1 had been reformulated again, and the sida cordifolia was now gone from it. HOWEVER, on a shelf directly above the Xenadrine, Hydroxycut among others, was a whole lot of Ephedra. He told me that I could take a couple of ephedra's, along with the Xen, or whatever, and it would be just like the US version.

Is this true?

By the way, I ended up buying some shit called Precision Therma Cuts. It had all the same ingredients.
Allow me to list them:

Four Capsules Contain

Garcinia Cambogia
(50 % Hydroxycitric Acid)....................1500 mg

Guarana Extract.................................900 mg

Citris Aurantium
(standardized for 4% Synephrine).....500 mg

Green Tea Extract...........................250 mg

Coleus Forskohlli Extract
(standardized for 10% Forskolin).......100 mg

White Willow Bark...........................100 mg

Guggul Extract
(standardized for a min. 10% gugglesterones)...100 mg

Alpha Lipoic Acid.......................30 mg


So...did I just buy crap, or what?
And, If I do decide to mix it with the Ephedra, will it work better?

though not enough ALA

and it will work better with ephedrine

Thanks for the answer. I did a search after I posted last night, and a lot of the ingredients have a lot written about them.

I'll probably hold off on the ephedra for a while. I just like the energy boost the Canadian crap gives you. I don't need to be dehydrated, wired up and sporting a "limp biscuit" if you know what I mean.
