... no just kidding

According to the DAWN (Drug Abuse Warning Network) Detailed Emergency Department Tables of 2000, ephedrine seems to be very safe when compared to other drugs. These numbers reflect the number of mentions each drug received in regard to emergency room visits. Here's a quick list:

Drug Name - Number of Mentions

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) - 33,613

Alcohol-in-combination - 204,524

Ibuprofen (Advil) - 17,923

Aspirin - 15,657

Fluoxetine (Prozac) - 7,938

OTC sleep aids-Sominex/Nytol - 6,609

Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) - 6,270

Naproxen (Aleve) - 5,080

Caffeine - 1,674

Chlorpheniramine/aspirin - 1,116

Pseudoephedrine - 948 (A decongestant used in every cold/sinus formula around)

Ephedrine - 1,057

And then you have to consider the other variables in each case. Were there pre-exixting heart problems? Did they take 3 grams of it after four cups of coffee? What else did they take? Where they 108 years old? How many were unecessary ER visits based on the person simply being scared of an increased heart rate, or a simple palpitation? I bet if you figured al these out, it would drop to a quarter of that number at least.

One thing that comes to mind is in "EMERGENCY" Room Visits. Generally, I would only think Ephedrine would cause an EMERGENCY visit, if you took too much and your heart rate raised too high, allergic reaction, or something thereabout..... But one thing to consider with Ephedrine, is the long term damage it can cause. Not to say they would be life threatening, but leading to more serious prostate problems, blood pressure, or heart problems should be considered......Most of those other things can obviously also lead to long term chronic problems....

ok...as this rediculous debate continues....and as i sit here at work and drink my s-25 thermogenic drink......

Bad:
1. if you are a kid taking it...you donnt need to, you have enough energy already.
2. if you drink 5 bottles in 15 minutes....

Good:
1. Old and no energy.
2. Pre workout as follows:
25 mg drink, 1/2 aspirin and 1 or 2 cAFFINE PILSS IF YOU LIKE 15 MINUTES BEFORE TRAINING... GO DORECTLY TO THE TREAD MILL FOR 5-10 MINUTES..TRAIN YOU ASS OFF, DO NOT WALK AROUND BETWEEN SETS...SIT AND GET READY FOR THE NEXT..

Waste:

Dont sip it during the worlout, it takes longer to hit you since it is not at full strength, and it only lasts for about 30 minutes.

Follow:

Tha damn instructions on the bottle are to help, not make good toilet reading material while shitting all your protein...
