Ephedrine and ALA- Good For Fat Loss???

Guys, how effective is Ephedrine and ALA for losing bodyfat while natural? I have a friend that needs to lose a good bit of bodyfat. The E/C stack will be used 2-3 times a day and ALA will be used at 1000-1500 mgs a day. What do you think???

You should encourage your friend to focus on what he can DO to lose bodyfat, rather than what he can TAKE to lose bodyfat. ALA and EC are great for cutting once he's got his diet and workout dialed in.

BTW, the thermogenic effects of EC are (mostly) myth. There's only a 3-5% increase in metabolism while the drugs are active in your system, and that's being generous. Its primary effect is an anorectic, and to give you lots of energy.

you forgot diuretic. hence the initial weight loss (5lbs first week is common).

I belive ALA is most effective for fat loss when used with a low carb/keto type diet. ALA will allow you to eat more carbs, but still achieve ketosis.

Take the ALA with your meals that contain carbs. The ALA will shuttle the carbs to your cells - instead of being stored in your liver and keeping you from being in ketosis.

ALA won't erase a ton of carbs.... But it's a very effective tool for low carb/keto diets and can greatly accelerate fat loss.
