ephedrine advise

Hi guys, I'm not a BB and have no apserations of being one (I'm too fat and lazy) though I do like to stay in reasonalbe fitness and shape. I used to compete in MMA events and got into a habit of weight cutting using ephedrine. I've now been using it, on and off obviously, for 4 years. However suffering a back injury a couple of years ago i put on 3 stone of fat - so a year and a hlaf ago I started on a program to shift it - started with about 10 months of normal training / rehabilitation with no suppliments. I then moved onto using over the counter suppliments with cycles of ephedrine - because of the extended usage this year I've a few questions:

Is it liver toxic - I'm taking LARGE dosages before training - 30 odd tabs
Can it cause thread viens - I've started to get these recently, I've been on a cycle for 6 weeks so far?

wtf -- 30 tabs of ephedrine before training!? How many MG of ephedrine is that, is this pure ephedrine?? Or some low concentrate ephedra herb tab that's not standardized for ephedrine MG....... because you usually just take two tabs max per day of ephedrine or standardized ephedra, one tab in the morning and one tab in the afternoon... such extreme dosage (30 tabs) can be extremely dangerous, i think someone abused ephedrine and that's why it was banned for a while and got a bad rap.
 
I believe they are 30mg tabs... when I started taking them I was taking two, but my tolerance grew towards them... plus I have found different suppliers have different grades....

I'm not wanting to sound like johnny big potatoes here - If the amount I'm taking is doing my damage I will stop - I'm not trying to be boastful, as i am unaware what is a large amount and what is normal...

Please be aware 30 tabs - although sounding a lot, does very little for me in terms of stimulus effect - i can happly take go to sleep with this amount in me without training. Again not being boastful - seeking advise

yeah man, you should not take that much ephedrine, 30tabs (=900mg) of pure ephedrine is way way way too much taken at one time.

you need to cycle on and off ephedrine so that your body won't build tolerance for it.

read up on how ephedrine works, something about it being able to help release fat from the stubborn areas like the stomach, and also it boosts metabolism so you burn more cals. Ephedrine is just an ehancement - the real fat loosing deal is with diet and cardio, if you are still not eating below maintenance level cals then ephedrine can't really do much as far as impressive fat loss. Do you have your cardio, workout, and diet planned good? That's what's gonna get you ripped and ephedrine helps speed up the process, but doesn't work without that. And again, cycle ephedrine, I think it was something like 6-12 weeks on and then half or equal that time off, you can probably go on Yohimbine HCL during your time off ephedrine, or try Ephedrine on workout days and Yohimbine HCL on cardio days, but definitely cycle to avoid tolerance to it, and definitely stop taking 30 tabs of 30mg Ephedrine a day, you're lucky you didn't feel any serious effects yet, I wouldn't roll the dice on that one if I were you.

I wasnt using Eph for increase my rest metabolism, I was basically using it for a pump during training and to surpress my appetite - which it does a good job at.

I do mostly circut based training: using weights , body weight, lots of bagwork , skipping - old school fitness training

Yeah i think Its time to come off the ephedrine and just back to the hard old slog - and proper eating.

I can't see somebody using 900mg of ephedrine in one shot and being ok.

There was a time where I used 150mg ephedrine (with 1200mg caffeine and aspirin) and I stopped because I felt the BP in my head AKA heart attack.

900 I would think is suicide.

Get off of it for a long time. Let your body recover. 1 tab of ephedrine plus caffiene should be enough to get extra energy for a good workout on leg day or when you need it.

NO2 supps are advertised to increase pump, haven't used 'em but that's their rep, and the herb hoodia is said to decrease appetite. Maybe look into those things and research if it's worth getting, as I haven't tried 'em myself I can't say but I know that's their rep, and so if u just want to help workout pump and appetite decrease, these would be much milder and easier on the body over all so might be worth looking into.

Ephedrine makes the body work harder or something, I forget the technical terms, but yeah not meant to really be used without stopping / especially it builds tolerance to it after a while so no point in staying on it for too long anyway.

cheers for the advise, dont get me wrong I started out on low dosages but every cycle required more to get the smae effects - time to come off i think and get myself healthy again. My guts are screwed when I'm on it.
