Entrepreneur Mag

If you don't have a subscription, I would strongly suggest checking it out. Of course there are the typical "8 Ways to Improve Employee Morale" and "Better Cold Calling Techniques" type of articles, but there are also an enormous amount of resources for small business owners. Very good mag.

I subscribe to it. However, usually i find one worthwhile interesting article in there. Most of it, like you said, is rehashed articles of "yes you can do it!", "franchising rules", typical emotion-appealing rhetoric to basically sell the magazine.

I find most of my *useful* knowledge from magazines coming from Black Enterprise. It's got a much livelier spirit of "education", helping" and "getting to the point with details", and a lot less of the hard-sell of non-stop dreams found in other entrepreneur magazines. It's usually filled every month from real stories, issues and challenges from black business owners -- which is a holy grail of information to learn from. I couldn't even begin to tell you the amount of entertainment contacts and partners i've derived from that mag.

advertizing bilboard

that's fine, but I assume most of us are intellegent enough to bypass the BS and find the few useful bits of info scattered thruout the mag. Just like M&F - most is advertising BS, but you can always find something to learn or something interesting if you know what to look for.
