I have an assignment where I have to interview people and get their opinion. This is the question, if youre interested please elaborate on your idea.

"Some people say we live in a difficult time, with problems like high unemployment and threat of war.But in many ways, the peroid we live in is better than any other in history.

In what ways are our times both the best and the worst ?"

I'd appreciate if you guys can help me out on this.Thank you

Oh no! Brain exploding!

Seriously, no time left today, but if you keep it bumped I'll try to come up with something tomorrow.

Let us not forget Noam Chomsky's feelings on the subject: "It hath been an opinion that the Japanese landed gentry are wiser than they seem, and the American lower-class seem wiser than they are; but howsoever it be between nations, certainly it is so in these difficult times." (Gould 119) Brilliant in this quote's democracy is the Nationalism sentiment that swept over the French lower-class in 1917. This begs the question, was it Socialism? In 1918 it was thought that "To the memory of difficult times, first in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of Italian countrymen." (Farrakan 119) Dubiously anthropologists recognize that the two are intertwined.

Just my two cents. :D

We live in a time where we have so much technology, yet nothing is simple anymore.

I remember being amused just by playing in the park w/ my friends, and video games took the back seat. I remember not knowing what the internet was, and though it opens many doors for education and leisure [like this board], people tend to sit in all day.

I'm kinda mentally spent from the long day, but when I start to unwind and think a little more easily I'll post more.
