England, who has lived there?

How's the place, things to do, nightlife and women? I'm aware that the weather is crappy. I travel plenty, that's why I ask question about places around the world. thanx

See what I mean. The English take two tries to string seven words together, and then they are so pleased with the results they say it twice. (hehehehehehe)
C'mon even the English admit they are a bunch of tossers. hehehe

Serious Answer time, Mike. England is varied. You'll get excellent nightlife and a friendly welcome in some areas and in others you won't. Just my personal opinion but if you try any of the Nothern cities, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Warrington, Newcastle, Blackpool, etc. you'll find the social life absolutely brilliant. But, of course, London has perhaps the most varied, busiest social scene. For this though you pay a price. High costs, fast paced lifestyle, overcrowding, etc.
I suppose it's down to personal preference. I have recently finished working in Leeds and found the city to be wonderful. Friendly people, good looking women, scenic views, etc. Also in many areas of Leeds and the surrounding districts the schools are amongst the top in G.B. (if you have kids).
If you are not "hell bent" on England you could try Wales. Cardiff and Swansea are both excellent areas to live.
Post more specific needs you require from a "hometown" and I, or some of the other guys, will be able to advise better.
Hope this helps.

I did live there for 3.5 years as a kid and was not so happy with the place although I was only 9-11 yrs old. Hear that if you are into beer and raves you will like it alot.

Scotland is OK.
England.......a bit boring in the countryside, But in cities, Leeds,

Howaya Mike ,
I've lived in London , Folkestone (South-East) and Glasgow (Ok that's Scotland). As a general rule the people get friendlier the further North you go but Glasgow is a bit dangerous at times (like when the two big football teams play each other- one weekend I was there there were 16 stabbings.). In addition the weather in Scotland is fucking unbearable in Winter , great people but 50 days of rain in a row - that's too much even for an Irishman.

In a group the English can be very rowdy but as individuals very civilised , they are not the most open individuals but once you're in they take you seriously.
Good luck with it pal.
